Vice President – Project Management

In this position, you will perform various responsibilities across Broking, particularly with the Global Account client segment. You will provide primary support and strategic collaboration to the Global Accounts client segment with a focus on project management, technology, database and content management and coordination of analytic content. You will have a high-level knowledge of the Global Accounts client group, using this knowledge to set standards and processes, and you will be instrumental in supporting the segment team to ensure an optimum consistency of service delivery globally. We will count on you to:

  • Prepare detailed project plans and summary timelines for sharing with key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process and technology improvement in the team
  • Interact with the business to identify, capture and analyze business needs and requirements
  • Maintain relationships and regular communication with the Global Account segment team and other key stakeholders (Global Account Executives and Advisory Board).
  • Manage moderate to complex projects or pieces of a larger project to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and coordinate project meetings. Track progress and communicate action items and key deliverables.
  • Actively manage all project risks and issues, and ensures Lessons Learned on projects are shared with colleagues and recommendations adopted are implemented.
  • Liaise with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
  • Respond to leaders request for information with the use of data analytics and coordinating with other departments if necessary in conjunction with the broader account team.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with project teams, third party providers, clients, etc.

We would like you to have: 

  • Project Management experience
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience with background in Project Management
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance and or reinsurance concepts and terms
  • Good interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining relationships
  • Good verbal and writing skills for complex communications (presentations, meetings, etc.) and ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • A collaborative approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.
  • Good ability to find creative solutions to new problems as they arise.
  • Good ability to be organized and pay attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills and computer skills for using Microsoft Soft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
  • Good ability to maintain compliance with professional standards, where applicable, as well as company-wise quality initiatives.
  • Good ability to work as part of a team to support key stakeholders and internal clients’ needs.
  • Good ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management.
  • Good ability to seek ways to streamline and improve current processes.
  • Good ability to possess technical knowledge/expertise as demonstrated by the ability to provide appropriate support to stakeholders.
