Vice President, Business Transformation

The Opportunity

The Vice President, Business Transformation
– Systems is a newly created role at Teladoc Health that will provide leadership and oversight at the enterprise level across a variety of key systems transformation projects.

Broadly speaking, the work will divide up across the following areas:
Systems Transformation
– Own and manage large scale systems design and implementation initiatives across the enterprise ensuring that business requirements are met while meeting budget and schedule (ie, ERP/CRM). 
Change Management
– Establish a change management playbook for systems transformation projects and lead change management efforts associated with these projects.

Build strong foundational relationships with stakeholders and take ownership of their continued engagement, support and contribution.
Transformation Management Office (TMO)
– Establish a TMO and lead, mentor and train the TMO project managers.

PMP training and certification desired.
Transformation Leadership Program
– work with the SVP, Business Transformation and the VP, Business Transformation
– Operations to set up and manage a rotational program that will enable high performers from across the enterprise to receive training in Lean Six Sigma or similar framework and perform process improvement work across the organization.

Partner globally with Finance, Sales, and IT to deliver solutions which support revenue growth, operational efficiency and align to financial objectives
Develop and present complex ideas to executive audiences (including status and strategies) in a clear, concise, and decisive manner
Partner with project managers and department leaders to develop an agreed upon delivery management process, including escalation of risks, issues, and dependencies
Align with Change Management team to ensure that initiatives are well communicated, monitored, and positioned for success
Leverage knowledge of business transformation project risks and dependencies to make useful recommendations to impacted stakeholders
Manage external contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring the right talent is in place to deliver on business transformation projects
Develop key stakeholder relationships and provide direction to successfully deliver business transformation initiatives
Apply best practice PM methodologies to systems projects with the goal of streamlining and improving business processes and workflows resulting in less manual labor, less errors, more accessible and higher quality data
Be or become a change management expert (ADKAR, or similar) and train and mentor the next generation of Teladoc change agents.
Work across the organization to define and implement appropriate organization business process and workflow changes to improve how Teladoc functions at an enterprise level
Develop and manage a Transformation Leadership Program that will be a rotational opportunity for high performance individuals to tackle business process improvement opportunities within their departments and across the enterprise.
Share accountability with the SVP, Business Transformation to deliver on cost improvement commitments with measurable impact to EBITDA.
Candidate Profile
A minimum of 12 years, with 8+ years in consulting or project management role (Big 4 or Consulting Firm); 5+ years working in healthcare technology
Degree in business, computer systems and/or related experience.

MBA a plus
Six Sigma and/or other qualified project management training certification a major plus
Significant experience and demonstrated history of driving and delivering large enterprise transformation programs.
Accounting and operations experience a major plus
Process design skills
– able to critically review existing processes; make recommendations for rationalization and improvement and implement them operationally working with IT and other venders
Strong communication skills; proven ability to communicate and build strong relationships effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels and to understand and express complex technical and accounting concept.
Ability to work under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
Ability to lead a matrix team on multiple engagements and work collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.

The ability to make consistent and timely decisions
Self-motivated, results-oriented and assertive individual
