We are looking for a sales director who has a unique gift of closing the deal with a focused mindset of service and quality.Sportsplex New Windsor is Orange County, New York’s premier multi-sports health club, located in the heart of the Hudson Valley.

For over 25 years, we have been a state-of-the-art fitness facility that offers robust programming for all ages.

In addition, we have an outstanding children’s center that offers year round preschool programs, and holiday and summer camps.

This is an exciting time to get on board with an established leadership team casting a fresh and exciting vision for the future.Responsibilities:Financial Performance: Includes establishing goals/budgets and achieving them.

Setting individual and team goals and holding team accountableReports: Tracking lead sources, running weekly and monthly reports, collecting all email addresses for use in member communication and ensuring that all membership materials are updated and accurate.Marketing: Use social media as the main outlet.

Create and develop new sales opportunities.

Work in conjunction with GM for marketing and budget goals.Training: leading the sales staff and keeping them aware of current trends, promotions, etc.

Maintain & model a high level of professionalism, and implement career building opportunities for the team.Management – in charge of hiring and developing a dynamic sales team.

Provide consistent feedback and recognition to each sales rep.

Conduct performance appraisals, and implement disciplinary measures if necessary.Meetings: attend and participate in management and team meetings with sales & retention updatesParticipate in club programs and functions; be visible and familiarwith these events Requirements:Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a business related curriculum.Minimum of three to five years as a Sales Director in a service industryBusiness management experience is a plus.Excellent written, communication, organizational, and training skills.Strong leadership qualities with an ability to motivate staff to achieve goals.Proven ability in project management, analysis, delegation and follow-upHighly developed professional with sales knowledge and has proven ability to meet or exceed goalsKnowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc, and the ability to achieve results.Compensation and BenefitsSalary and Wage: Compensation includes: competitive base salary, monthly & annual incentives, vacation & personal days, health plan, family health club membership
