Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary management team to provide direction of activities and operation of assigned patient care areas. The Nursing Admin supervisor ensures adequate staffing is maintained, provides direction to clinical and non-clinical personnel and evaluates the outcomes of nursing care.QualificationsApplicant must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. BS degree in Health/Nursing required. Masters preferred. Background in progressive nursing management preferred. ACLS certification. PALS required (or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; analytical skills necessary to develop policy and procedures, budgets, schedules, and nursing practice.
