Description of Responsibilities

As Manager, Business Processes and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting different aspects of the business, both at corporate and store level: collect business requirements and translate them into new processes andor software solutions as well as create reports using existing business intelligence platform to provide information in an automated and timely manner.

You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and related procedures adhere to Giorgio Armani standards.

In this role, you will be involved in the planning and management of projects and directing the rollout of new reports, new applications and changes to existing applications.

As a Manager, you will gather an understanding of all major company processes and work independently to complete daily activities.

You will analyze system modification requests, develop and design program specifications, perform necessary modifications.

This position will collaborate with our HQ in Milan, Italy, and our local consulting partners to develop solutions to improve existing applications and reporting capabilities.

This position will be involved in Global Projects launched by the HQ, for what concerns Regional solution/business blue print, tests, deployment, support.

Overview of Critical Duties
Strong partnership with business channels in order to collect, investigate, and understand business requirements Oversee Business intelligence area in strict collaboration with global HQ Analyze system modification requests to develop programming specifications or system customizations Facilitate communication between business units, local IT Department and global HQ from initial request to final implementation Proactively monitor production systems and aid in the escalation/resolution of issues as needed Provide training and support to user community as needed Project Management of systems development, new roll outs, updates, etc.

(both Regional and Global Projects) Vendor Management: Work with vendors in the provision of software, consulting services and support Travel to Boutiques, Warehouses and Remote Offices as necessary

Background/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred Masters or Specialization in the field is a plus 5-10 years working within Information Systems Proven experience of Fashion/Luxury market and Retail business is a must Deep knowledge of data warehousing principles and BI tools (SAP Business Objects and MS Power BI) is a must Familiarity with SAP ERP system, POS systems, Omnichannel and CRM systems strongly recommended Knowledge of retail planning concepts and algorithms is a plus Excellent communication, time management, project management and problem-solving skills Knowledge of XML, ABAP (plus) PLSQL, Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
