Overview:The Account Manager position is an integral part of the Network Development & Provider Relations teamat Care Design New York & Partners Health Plan.

Reporting to the Director of Network Recruitment & Field Operations, this position will be responsible for proactive customer service and network development of providers to support members needs and organizational gaps.Partners Health plan is the New York States only fully integrated duals advantage (FIDA) plan dedicated to servicing individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and their families.

In addition to its FIDA dual-eligible program, Partners Health Plan is in the development of a Medicaid Managed Care plan.

The following are guiding values of Partners Health Plan:Promote wellnessSupport choiceIntegrate servicesRespect diversityImprove the quality of lifeResponsibilities:Analyze network gaps at CDNY and PHP and work to partner with external healthcare, behavioral health, community-based service, and developmental disability organizations to meet the needs of the members we serve.External facing position to serve as point of contact for provider accounts and connect providers to appropriate internal department, assist in resolving issues/concerns to ensure provider satisfaction, proactively engage provider and ensure CDNY and PHP is top of mind for provider accounts.Recruit providers into the network for contracting.Ensure high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders through various forums and methods.Collaborate with Care Management at CDNY and PHP to schedule touchpoints with partners to ensure providers are receiving organizational updates and any issues/concerns are discussed and resolved.Leverage current relationships and contacts within the field to help develop and cultivate opportunities for partnership.Responsible for managing Provider Webinars and Provider Spotlights.Responsible for managing CDNY Search of Service tool; ensuring the information is up to date and is providing stakeholders with needed information.Utilize the customer relationship management system for documenting communications and manage provider contracts within theAssist in the development of communications and marketing tools to support the provider network, including creating marketing collateral and social media presence.Acts as a liaison for current and potential network providers and resolves issues withQualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience working in healthcare and/or managed care required.5 years plus experience providing customer service in some capacity.High level of confidence and/or experience working to cultivate relationships/partnerships in an external facing capacity.Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Experience working with or understanding of I/DD population or service provider agency preferred.Ability to take the lead on projects and work independently under minimal supervision.Ability to multi-task and have flexibility as priorities change.High level of confidence and/or experience working in multiple systems such as Client Relationship Management System and Project Management Systems.
