S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Associate Marketing Director, Data & Research Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): G12 The Location: Centennial, CO, London, UK, NYC, NY, Boston MA, Charlottesville, VA The Team: Y ou will be part of the global marketing leadership team responsible for developing strategic plan, implementing and managing S&P Global Market Intelligence marketing activities to drive strategic Data Management Solutions (DMS)/Marketplace business objectives. The Impact: Working closely with key stakeholders including product and sales teams, this position will have ownership and accountability for the achieving marketing KPIs, development and execution of appropriate marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics for the S&P Global Market Intelligence DMS/Marketplace portfolio globally with team management responsibility. Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82.6k to $ 188.6k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. Responsibilities: • Content and product marketing – Develop product marketing campaigns for various content pieces which help position S&P Global Market Intelligence as a thought leader such as papers, reports, infographics, email campaigns, blogs, etc. Analyze and measure the performance to maximize reach and effectiveness. • Marketing communications – Produce email, web and advertising copy, social posts, and sales collateral aligned to the business’ growth strategy and branding guidelines. • Stakeholder communications and support – Collaborate with sales for driving the lead processing workflow and provide regular and consistent updates to the product and commercial teams. • Global collaboration – Leverage work developed by global colleagues and adopt campaign best practices by region or market. Influence and collaborate with colleague beyond the reporting line to maximize the campaign impact and results. • Sales enablement – Develop materials to help Sales communicate the value proposition of products and support the selling process of those products • Event support & management – Work closely with the Global Event team and business areas to support event strategy and activation as well as define event KPIs • Marketing operations – Leverage marketing automation tool to plan and execute marketing campaigns and compile analytics and reporting What We’re Looking For: The ability to develop the annual marketing plan focusing on client segment personas while maintaining a direct alignment with business priorities is crucial. It is essential to be able to collaborate with others within or beyond the reporting line. Basic Qualifications: Ability to apply a client centric focus in developing strategic plans that position S&P Global MI as a partner to our clients through our complementary and integrated DMS/Marketplace offerings including Credit & Risk, Data & Research, Desktop Platforms, and ESGDevelop annual marketing plan focusing on client segment personas while maintaining a direct alignment with business prioritiesA minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B financial sector Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred) Experience in developing an annual strategic marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management Extensive knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience in managing, cultivating, and motivating a team This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
