Account Supervisor, US Business Development

Daniel J Edelman Holdings

This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted April 29, 2021.

Account Supervisor, US Business Development

This role is open to be based from: New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; Atlanta, GA or any other Edelman US location

About the Opportunity:

At Edelman, we have a lot of value to sell, and our new business efforts are the best opportunity to create a first impression.

We’re looking for a teammate who’s resilient, delivers high quality work, stays calm under pressure, keeps things fun, takes ownership, and learns every day.

The ideal candidate exudes dynamic, entrepreneurial problem-solving skills.

Our pitches reflect who we are: smart, strategic, collaborative, and fresh. We’re the team that’s owned the Trust Barometer for 20 years – and we’re also the team that produces leading, conversation-driving campaigns like Dove’s #FathersDayTaken campaign and Good Humor’s New Ice Cream Truck Jingle.

We’re seeking a passionate self-starter, who’s fluent in navigating change, to join our US Business Development Team. Part growth strategy, part operations and project management, this rarely available role is an exciting opportunity to drive change at a leading agency while working closely with office leadership and advancing our offerings.

The ideal candidate for the role has agency experience identifying, prospecting and successfully pursuing new business opportunities, vetting and responding to RFPs, and providing strategic counsel to executives. They are interested in driving efficiencies, examining how we present ourselves externally, and motivating teams to provide the best possible solutions for our blue chip and Fortune 100 clients.

While experience in business development at an agency is ideal, it is not required – we know that the best candidates often have unorthodox backgrounds.

If you’ve spent time at a startup, in strategy, or in consulting, even better – we want you to know how to solve problems quickly and collaboratively.
