This is a Contract position in Queens Village, NY posted November 21, 2021.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise the workflow and day-to-day activities of Data Management (DM) Team to provide operational and technical support as it relates to correspondence and report generation, Medical Claims Processing (QNXT) authorization module configuration and updates, computer equipment, software and hardware applications.Interact and partner with Mail Room, QNXT Production Support (QPS), ETL and QNXT (EAST), DMS-IT Team, internal and external Information Technology teams to troubleshoot, develop, and test new or updated reports, and system configuration.Measure and monitor staffing levels, assign duties and delegate responsibilities as appropriate, prepare weekly and monthly report on staff activity, complete performance evaluations, track time and attendance, perform labor management activities, and remedial to progressive disciplinary action in accordance with Human Resources guidelines and provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).Develop and implement Quality Assurance Programs; conduct and review quality audits to adhere to policies and procedures.Assist with developing new and existing workflow processes based on departmental needs.Train and educate staff on departmental workflow and protocols, maintain departmental manual on an ongoing basis with annual review and immediate updates for modifications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems and processes, vendors and providers; assist with urgent, expedited and complex cases that require management level problem resolution; act as liaison with other departments and establish and maintain communications with various areas of the Fund.Collect, analyze data and create Adhoc and scheduled reports for clinical and financial outcomes.Perform special projects and assignments as directed by management.

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Care and equivalent years of work experience; Minimum three (3) years database management experience and one (1) year experience in a leadership role.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook) systems and Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and SQL required.Comprehensive knowledge of advance excel spreadsheets and formulas (Charts, Functions, PIVOT tables, MACROS), Visio, VBA highly preferred.Good project management skills for implementation of new programs and sustainability of current programs.Knowledge of eligibility guidelines and benefits entitlements, medical claims processing and applications (QNXT, DMS, RightFax, and Vitech (V3) Fund Administrator system), for 1199SEIU National Benefit and Pension Funds, Greater New York, and Homecare Fund preferred.Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills – oral, written and listening.Excellent problem-solving skills must be detail oriented, able to troubleshoot and follow guidelines.Demonstrate management skills and leadership qualities with good decision-making abilities
