(And if you love books and authors, that?s a big plus.) We are looking for a high-octane Senior Sales Executive to drive business and opportunities to our firm.

You will be responsible for sourcing, directing, and evaluating new opportunities, acquisitions, and clients.

Candidate profile * An ambitious and experienced sales executive with a history of success in new business development and capable of utilizing data and research to identify new opportunities and clients.* Demonstrated track record of success with B2B Sales* A proactive self-starter who is highly independent, resourceful, and motivated to reach and exceed goals while achieving a high level of client satisfaction.* Ability to build quick rapport with potential clients using assertiveness and confidence to educate them on the expansive value for them or their brand (including ROI) of leveraging their success, story, principles, and/or expertise into a book.* A closer with the ability to manage multiple customers concurrently, utilizing problem-solving strategies to best position KAA?s services to clients?

expected outcomes.* An effective communicator with a strong phone presence and the ability to proficiently engage clients through disciplined outbound call activity and email.* Able and willing to learn quickly and gain comprehensive knowledge of the firm?s business model, and the publishing industry in general.* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.* Design and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve sales goals.* To maintain and develop productive relationships with existing and potential clients.* Identify new market segments and assess operational problems or issues to stay ahead in the competitive market.* A strong, outgoing, and charismatic personality will be a major asset.* A proven ability to present and negotiate at a VP/President/CEO/MD level Responsibilities * Selling our comprehensive book-writing and publishing navigation services to business leaders (mostly C-suite), thought leaders, celebrities, and public figures.* Scouting various websites, groups, networks, etc., to locate and connect with clients.* Maintain an intimate knowledge of our firm, its place in the industry, and the services we provide.* Identify new sales opportunities through cold (and warm) calling and prospecting.* Proposing, negotiating, and executing deals and contracts with clients* Utilize consultative selling skills to identify key trends, uncover client needs and leverage industry knowledge and applications to find and close sales opportunities.* Understand the communication and influence needs of highly successful business leaders and public figures.

Use resources to design and propose customized solutions to meet their unique goals.* Ensure delivery of the client experience from sale to fulfillment to foster relationships and networks with clients.* Provide leadership in planning, forecasting, and due diligence to support the firm?s growth and expansion objectives.* Managing key client relationships.* Attending appropriate corporate events, conferences, panels, etc.* Sales meetings with various KAA clients in our New York office.* Arrange and execute face-to-face visits to promote our services to potential new clients* Build pipeline and maintain long-term relationships with prospects* Identify new business opportunities to generate opportunities* Develop annual sales strategy and goals* Leverage sales tools and resources to identify new sales leads and nurture prospect relationships* Collaborate with sales leaders Qualifications * Bachelor?s degree.* 8+ years of executive/corporate sales experience with an emphasis on B2B relations and/or C-suite.* Candidates must be located within the Greater NYC Area (no more than a 2-hour commute to the city)* Proven history meeting or exceeding quota and closing sales Compensation Compensation includes a generous base salary supplemented by sales incentives, uncapped commissions, and bonuses.
