Regent Apparel Group, a Fast Fashion Junior / Missy / Plus sportswear and outerwear importer seeks dynamic and creative Sales Account Executive with a following to be a major player in our fast-growing company.

About our Company

We design and sell European inspired fashion sportswear that is on trend and item driven.

Our relationships overseas enable us to turn very quickly. Products include tops in both knits and woven, an extensive sweater collection, and fashion jackets. Our distribution is department stores, national specialty chains, regional chain stores, mass merchant and independent specialty stores. We sell branded and private label merchandise. Our licensed brands include Wet Seal and Arden B. 

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with experience and relationships in the market that can sell both our line merchandise and is creative and resourceful to be able to work closely with our retail buyers and our in-house design and production teams to develop and merchandise private label programs.

You will work with established accounts and open new doors for both line and private label merchandise.

You will be responsible to negotiate prices, terms, discounts and allowances within company policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be polished and professional, highly motivated, personable, outgoing, extremely organized, detail oriented, flexible and thrive in a demanding, high pressure
– fast-paced environment.

The candidate must be able to troubleshoot, think, and act immediately and independently.

Must be intuitive, able to anticipate needs and develop options.

The candidate must be able to create effective working relationships with inside associates, outside buyers and business partners.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar selling position.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Have a very good understanding of retail math, mark up, mark downs etc.

A proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
