Website Content Analyst

La-Z-Boy Incorporated

This is a Full-time position in Hartsdale, NY posted April 28, 2021.

The Website Content Analyst drives the usage of web analytics to help optimize the overall digital customer experience. This individual will implement best practices to provide standard reporting on key KPIs and initiate reporting across all digital media, evaluate website performance and maximize effectiveness of merchandising. The Website Content Specialist will analyze site content, product performance and recommend adjustments to enhance the user experience and sales performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
• Deliver’s continuous enhancements impacting user experience by analyzing results of web-based traffic to identify, troubleshoot, and implement improvements to fix gaps in design and user behavior. Analyze the success of the enhancements made to the website to ensure the desired objectives were met.
• Develops, stabilizes, simplifies web analytics dashboards and reporting in order to impact content, marketing, and merchandising decisions.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly assessment of ecommerce demand (i.e., traffic, purchases, conversion) and user experience (i.e., funnel analysis, bounce rate, etc.).
• Develops and implements enhancements to user experience and ensure that news of improvements and changes is disseminated in a timely manner. Analyzing multiple channels of data to create valuable enhancements, some of these will included, reports, soliciting feedback from Merchandising, Retail Stores, and the Marketing organization.
• Creates partnerships with key internal partners and external 3rd party analytics resources. Constantly improves existing reporting templates and improves ad hoc request process – to build transparency and clear expectations around expectations and recommendations.
• Analyzes customer inquiries (Onsight Search) and subsequent behaviors with navigation to ensure seamless experience. Identify patterns and repetitive journeys or pathing that result in customer struggle on-line, unnecessary call generation or incompleteness of intended task. Based on analysis, implement on-site search logic changes and improvements to on-line features/functionalities

This role directly contributes to the success of the digital customer experience through successful analysis, recommendation of enhancements to impact a global experience driving a $20 mil + business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• 2-4 years digital or retail analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience with Adobe Digital Marketing Suite, Tag Management and Ad-Hoc Analysis and Google analytics.
• Experience with web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
• Up to 5% travel.
