Mammography Technologist – 37-50 72nd St – Queens, NY – Full-time

Responsibilities: Full time Mammography Tech position available .

Weekday 9-5Evaluates exams for technical accuracy and confirms that completed examinations are delivered Documents the completion of each examination as required by protocolDemonstrates the knowledge of proper patient positioning, imaging techniques and equipment setting, producing high quality images, utilizing appropriate film markers.

Excellent knowledge of imaging protocol is necessary to accommodate any variations due to patient condition.

Qualifications: Required:Current license as a Radiologic Technologist as indicated by the NYS Department of HealthCurrent registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) in MammographyCurrent certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)Proficient in all areas of general radiology and mammographyCompletion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic TechnologyEOE M/F/D/V
