We are hiring for a Learning and Development Trainer to be based in the company’s manufacturing facility in Richmond, KY.

Position Description

This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Learning and Development professional to develop and execute training in our custom picture framing manufacturing environment.

This role will be integral to the instructional development of our team and aid in the advancement of technical and leadership skills.

This will be an important member of the HR and Process Improvement team.

The role includes the full training lifecycle including course development for frontline employees.

You will immerse yourself in the technical side of each role to then be able to document and translate into training materials you will teach to existing and new employees.

Our desired outcome is to ensure consistency and a best in class manufacturing environment.

Additionally you will be asked to assess the effectiveness of your training through regular evaluation of quality outputs and hands on observation.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing people, is a strong communicator, and has experience developing course material in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Develop proprietary training for front line employees specific to the techniques, tools, and machinery used within our factory Work closely with subject matter experts to prioritize safety and product quality Develop long term curriculum that supports scaling through multiple factories with the goal of a consistent customer experience every time Continually assess the effectiveness of your training through metric analysis and hands on observation Contribute to engagement building of team members at all levels Lead the collection of statistical data and metrics for quality improvement purposes as related to training activities Travel to other company manufacturing facilities to execute trainings and complete train the trainer courses Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in training and development role in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated ability to write and develop course content relevant to the business Strategic planning experience where business needs are translated into trainings and development paths Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills Experience facilitating all kinds of training including classroom, web based, and on the jobsite Strong organizational ability to synthesize work, determine priorities, and set deadlines A self-starter and highly intuitive Priority towards execution and speed Experience with trainings and LMS systems as well as strong technical aptitude
