Lead Development Specialist

Under the general direction of the Manager, Lead Development, the Lead Development Specialist is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the HHS lead development program, including achievement of key performance metrics, SLAs and revenue goals.  This role is responsible for HHS customer/prospect engagements through multiple channels, to facilitate introductions to the sales team and convert leads to opportunities.  The Lead Development Specialist plays a critical role in qualifying new and expansion inbound leads and building quality sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
Utilize CRM (SFDC), Definitive, Marketo, LinkedIn and other tools as necessary to research and engage prospective customers and contacts to identify decision makers at target account and markets
Engage website partners to access data and respond to all qualified leads in a timely and professional manner
Perform continuous outreach to prospective customers via email and telephone, meeting all established service level agreements
Conduct thorough and professional discovery calls to prospects, utilizing BANT qualification criteria 
Facilitate professional introduction calls between qualified leads and key members of Sales team (by area or Solution) and secure a qualified sales advance outcome per meeting
Document all research and relevant meeting notes in CRM and send to Sales team
Deliver multiple high quality prospect meetings per week
Utilize email templates for introduction, discovery and ending communications to prospective customers and contacts
Adhere to playbooks, procedures and processes for ultimate team performance
Maintain records of all activities in CRM (Salesforce)
Utilize existing marketing tools and Teladoc website to engage potential customers
Foster strong collaborative relationships with Field Sales, internal stakeholders and key health system decision makers
Work cross functionally to deploy internal strategies, positioning and support for the HHS team
Complete other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
Self-starter capable of working independently and organizing workflow to meet changing priorities and deadlines
Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Possesses listening skills that allow for effective customer and team communications
Able to track key performance metrics, ensure achievement of SLAs and corporate objectives
Systems/process oriented.

Ability to oversee/drive a project from start to finish
Strong work ethic and results oriented disposition.  Tenacious, and driven to succeed
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.  Ability to function through ambiguity
Works well with team members and cross-departmentally
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent
3-5 years’ experience in a high tech (SaaS) environment and/or health care environment preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
Previous customer-facing experience required
Disciplined organizational skills and record keeping in CRM systems (salesforce.com experience is preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Proficiency with LinkedIn
