Lacrosse Coach

This is a Contract position in Rochester, NY posted May 14, 2022.

The intern will serve as the on-site Director of NXT Summer Lacrosse Camps and assist with the coaching, administration and on-site set up for our club program.

Other duties will include but not be limited to: pre-program communication, gear prep, inventory, social media content, marketing on site, branding via tents, schedule uploads and data entry.

This position will be overseen by Vice President of Girls Lacrosse, Candace Taglianetti Bossell, Director of Girls Lacrosse, Laurie DeLuca and Jessi Lieb Martin, Director of Internal Operations.RoleTIMEFRAME/COMPENSATIONThe internship will run from June 6-Aug 10.

The base pay is a $250 per week stipend, with additional payment for every weekend, camp and other opportunities outside the scope of the base pay.

Extensive weeknight and weekend work is required.

We are looking for 2 interns for the summer internship program as outlined below:$250/week base (this is for the in-office prep or for the lead up program work duties & practices 2x/week)Even if there is no programming on that particular week/weekend you will receive the base rate.

Some weeks will be busier than others.In addition to this base, you will be receiving the market rate for programming titles as a coach for camps.

In addition to the base, you will receive the weekend rate for tournaments or play days.QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must be a current college student-athlete, upperclassmen preferred, with relevant lacrosse coaching/playing experienceAn interest in working with children, a high level of responsibility, problem solving-ability, and strong communication skills are requiredApplicants should have access to transportation, be able to carry over 50lbs, and be proficient with social media and Google Office SuiteApplicants must be PA ACT 153 compliant and pass all relevant background checks.
