Job Description

EIS Fabrico is the leader in designing, prototyping, and manufacturing engineered flexible materials for medical, transportation, general industrial, electronic and electrical applications. Fabrico is looking for a hands-on Intern to work with our Process Development and Production teams to improve a key work cell for our company.


  • Study in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Equivalent
  • Junior class level
  • Ability to work in hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeable in Manufacturing improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing
  • Basic tool and machine design
  • AutoCAD and Inventor experience a plus


  • Hands-on machine operation to develop process knowledge for improvement
  • Lead improvement event
  • Conduct basic time studies
  • Determine process obstacles and make recommendations to eliminate or reduce
  • Research tooling and components available to improve process
  • Report findings and recommendations to improve process, tooling and equipment
