Chief Information Security Officer

Ubiquity is hiring for Chief Information Security Officer to join our organization.

This role provides strategic direction and operational management of Ubiquity’s Information Security Team, systems, policies, and processes.

The Chief Information Security Officer serves as the process owner of all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee, and business information in compliance with the organization’s information security policies.

The incumbent will work with Ubiquity’s executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization and ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Information Security and IT risk management strategy and architecture Evaluates information risk on a regular time schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization.

Implement, design, manage and allocate industry leading best security practices within our organization.

Define and prioritize the Information Security project roadmap and drives shared vision across the enterprise regarding security projects Ensures the availability and resource capacity of SME’s who provide guidance to Customer Success and Sales prospects to understand the functional capabilities and security features Ensure compliance with security policies and other industry standards (i.e.

PCI, SOC2, SOX, HIPAA, ISO) Provide proactive security operations center services to include 24x7x365 monitoring and response of the technology environment to detect, analyze, track and mitigate all threats that could impact the organization or its customers Set strategic roadmap and tactical goals driving the evolution of the incident response, security monitoring, and threat intelligence Manage and provide technical leadership for all information security incidents to include stakeholder engagement with the Incident Response Team and documentation of findings and recommendations Develop mitigation/response strategies and guide the acquisition and development of countermeasures to keep the business safe Manage all aspects of the InfoSec teams activities Ensure policies, procedures and protocols are being executed Maintain a strong security posture meeting legal, regulatory, compliance and contractual obligations Manage requests from governing bodies, internal and external auditors Build and report the InfoSec metrics that enable executive leadership to effectively assess performance of security program, controls, risk management, risk mitigation and justify technology investments Collaboratively develops policies, procedures, technical standards, methods, and education programs related to information security and data privacy.

Oversees the strategic relationship within the region between the information security function and associated IT operational and development functions, as well as business operations and corporate groups Ensure that all required information security trainings are taken by the necessary employees Develop and maintain a Security Incident Response Plan, test the effectiveness of the program and coordinate incident response across the organization Oversee vendor due diligence and compliance with our InfoSec standards Maintain a strong understanding of the global outsourcing business, and the business process outsourcing market in general, and the unique information security requirements of the business, its customers and the markets in which it operates.

Translate and ensure implementation of the information security requirements of the global outsourcing business and its customers for the operational (business and IT) teams through collaborative efforts to ensure security remains a market differentiator

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology related field of study or equivalent experience; relevant, industry recognized security certification such as, CISM, CISSP or CISA required 10+ years of experience in network, web, corporate, application and mobile security.

Experience in financial services, health care and customer service is preferred.

Ability to communicate complex concepts, problems and solutions clearly and effectively with an approachable style that engages others and builds credibility Ability to demonstrate creative thinking to solving complex challenges in a collaborative fashion Excellent business acumen, decision making and leadership ability Expert knowledge of information security principles, networks, operating systems, web applications Understanding of TCP/IP, networking concepts, and services such as DNS, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS Demonstrated operational experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, NGFW, UTM, FIM, SIEM, WAF, DLP Experience with vulnerability assessment tools Experience with audits such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC, ISO and HITRUST Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
