This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the Corporate office Mondays and Wednesdays with an option to work from home the remainder of the week.

Please note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time, based on the demands of the business.

Reporting to the Senior Real Estate Manager, as a Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for real estate portfolio and transaction management activity across Canon U.S.A and its subsidiaries.

This includes day-to-day management of US-based transactions and lease administration including lease negotiations (acquisitions and dispositions), renewals and restructures, preparation of financial analyses and management approval documents, and overseeing rent payment process across the portfolio.

You will manage assigned assets by geographic territory and/or size, and work with Company leadership to understand their business requirements and develop and execute strategies to optimize Canons real estate portfolio.

br/> To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior Specialist, Real Estate opportunity, you will have: * Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Business, Finance, Real Estate or another relevant field * 4-7 years of experience in corporate real estate, finance, consulting or related fields.

Corporate in-house experience is highly preferred * Solid experience with portfolio strategy, transaction management and lease administration * Thorough understanding of commercial lease and contract language as well as a fundamental understanding of real estate finance and FASB lease accounting methodologies * General knowledge of space planning and construction standards & estimating * Proven relationship management, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills; strong analytical and financial skills * Ability to interface, present and effectively communicate with various business units and management Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean markets.
