If you are ready to transform the operations of our largest clients through process transformation, organizational design and system integration, we are ready to offer you a best in class careerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesFor this role, you should have end-to-end understanding of all, and in-depth multi-project knowledge and experience with at least some of the following supply chain processes:Demand PlanningSupply PlanningDistribution PlanningSales & Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning, Inventory OptimizationSourcing & Direct Procurement Production Planning and SchedulingProduct Lifecycle Management Warehousing & LogisticsSupply Chain Network designAdditionally, you should have a working knowledge of supply chain adjacent functions such as Business Forecasting and Planning, Order Management, Indirect Sourcing and Procurement, Inventory Control and Material Management, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and other operations, reflecting how they interact with each the Supply Chain and each other, key performance metrics, and how each function contributes to overall company performance. Projects may range from detailed advisory for improving a single supply chain process, such as S&OP, to broad Operations Strategy projects focused on new operating models in support of digital transformation, new business strategies or new business models. Projects encompass business process, technology, skills development, network design, organizational design and performance metrics. In all cases, an ability to connect-the-dots and develop and deliver transformation plans and business cases will be critical.This is not an ERP implementation role but may involve making the business justification for or defining the to-be operating model resulting from implementing SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics. Understanding of how ERPs influence each of the business functions is critical, but knowledge of any specific ERP is not.Associate Partners are expected to contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within their practice area and to support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities. They are expected to establish trusted long-term relationships with clients through engagement activities. They must also develop strong and trusted relationships with Project Managers and other team members on complex services engagements across service lines including ERP Implementation, Cloud Strategy and Migration, Application Management and Business Process Outsourcing.This position requires the skills needed to develop value propositions and client provocations leading to the development of innovative client engagements, teaming with our experts in industry verticals and exponential technologies. Associate Partners are expected to identify new business opportunities at both established and emerging clients and to help win that business for IBM. Must be familiar with typical contractual requirements and be capable of drafting and reviewing responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work.This position is required to be client-facing, with the primary requirement to drive pipeline expansion and delivery of large transformational plays in the supply chain and operations areas spanning across strategy, process, AI and analytics and supply chain solutions. The candidate is expected to support bid and proposal activities and participate in related Sector, Solution Area, or Community activities. As a delivery executive / subject matter expert, the candidate is expected to drive client billable engagements.Global knowledge-sharing and management is key to IBM’s success. Individuals will participate in, and/or be responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection and reuse of IBM’s intellectual capital in the supply chain and associated domains.
