We are looking to hire in: Dutchess County, NY; Buffalo, NY; Suffolk County, NYWe are hiring levels 2 and 3.

Levels are based on years of experience.Level 2: 3-5 years of experienceLevel 3: 5-10 years of experience Responsibilities:Apply technical knowledge and experience to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents.

You are the subject matter expert in the field, mentoring other field service technicians, and assisting with complicated/non-standard field service issues.

This includes: Perform installations of our Triton Safety System and partner productsTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units while in the fieldPossess a deep knowledge and understanding of electrical principlesChampion quality and safety standards with all team members and partnersDeliver on your assigned install and repair quantitiesRecord and communicate daily deliverables to team leads in a timely mannerLive BusPatrol Values by being a reliable, courteous, and consistent team playerFollow all safety guidelinesMaintain a professional appearanceExecute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge and skill requirements: Advanced proficiency in operating a variety of standard hand and power tools, analog/digital test equipment, and CCTV testing devicesAdvanced proficiency in all field service skills:Reading and understanding install manuals, service manuals, electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and related documents in low voltage applicationsRunning wires, managing cables, connecting components, mounting devices, and effectively solving problems while maintaining a high-quality standardUsing diagnostic equipment & software to isolate wiring issues, network connectivity issues, equipment failures, and operational anomaliesUsing signal flow expertise to trace and resolve network cable issuesEffectively terminating and testing basic connections such as butt splices, insulated connectors, terminal strips/blocks, othersInstalling and terminating sub-devices (e., patch panels, junction boxes) and head-end equipment to include power and proper groundingAble to provide diagnostic support and instruction to other team members, partners, and customers – in person, by phone and/or onlineAble to effectively self-manage, follow daily travel and dispatch instructions, and report updates to managersProficient in using a tablet, email, Microsoft Word/ExcelComfort with a physically demanding job in a variety of environmentsAbility to lift 75lbs to shoulder heightAbility to stand or kneel for extended periods of timePossess a valid driver’s licensePass drug screeningOther requirements:You will travel up to 80% across North America.

Our work happens when school buses are not running.
