Head of Content Marketing


This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted June 9, 2021.

The Role: Company is on the forefront of the identity verification field, and we are looking for a Head of Content Marketing to help tell our story in a compelling way to position ourselves as the market leader and industry expert for all things fraud and identity verification related.

We’re looking for a true storyteller
– someone who can unlock technical information while communicating clearly with a larger, potentially non-technical audience in a way that captures and excites them about Company’s mission and products.

In this role, you will take ownership over building customer-centric messaging and B2B content assets, while serving as a close business partner to Marketing, Sales, Product, Data Science and other internal stakeholders.

You will also help build a team of content writers who will report to you.

You will be reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing.

What You’ll Do:
Build strategy, team, metrics, and reporting around all content for Company Tell Company’s story in an exciting, broadly accessible way through a variety of mediums (long & short form, videos, webinars, etc.) Lead the efforts in content creation by both writing compelling content as well as delegating efforts to the content team Partner with the wider marketing team to build and execute a prospect-centric content marketing strategy that is tailored for each of Company’s product lines and for the different industries and verticals that Company serves Develop compelling content across various mediums, including videos, podcasts, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, emails, social posts, and other content Partner regularly with SMEs across various departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, Growth) to take technical and business concepts and translate these concepts into concise messaging that drive awareness of Company’s solutions Track, analyze and report upon content effectiveness and conversion Identify and execute on new channels where Company should have more of a thought leadership presence
What You’ll Bring:
First and foremost, you’re a visual storyteller.

You’re able to draw the reader in and tell a story through content creation in a compelling way through a variety of mediums 5+ years of relevant work experience (research, brand marketing, content marketing, digital marketing), in a B2B SaaS environment A proven ability to build out a brand “voice” through content creation Self-starter mentality: ability to self-educate, build a strategy, communicate that strategy to get stakeholder buy-in, and execute Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Experience analyzing and leverage data and metrics to measure audience impact Capable of creating technical content for a variety of different mediums (blogs, videos, etc.) Strong eye for design Excellent verbal and written communication skills Nice to have: A journalism background, specifically within the technology industry Nice to have: Experience with content creation for Data Science and Machine Learning technologies Nice to have: Domain expertise in Fraud, Identity, Risk, etc.
