Job Description:Specific Job Duties & Tasks:Notify Management of any suspicious personnel or incidents occurring that relate to plant security. Be self-motivated and be a self-starter. Able to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities, to work effectively under strict time constraints. Notifies Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required. Understands, observes, and complies with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy. Strong knowledge and understanding of cleaning systems. Strong knowledge and understanding of SSOP’s. and Work Instructions Strong knowledge and understanding of the definition “Dry Clean”. Strong knowledge and understanding of the definition “Wet Clean”. “COP” “CIP” Strong knowledge and understanding of the definition “Allergen Clean”. Knowledge in Chemical Safety and working with caustic and acid cleaners. Ability to mix chemicals to the exact dilution and conduct titrations. Ability to read and understand all SDS’s. Ability to read and document all cleaning steps on the attribute sheets. Sweep and mopping all floors in all plant areas including outside warehouse. Cleaning ovens which includes climbing ladders, mopping tops, cleaning sides, sweeping, and mopping aisles. Cleaning and washing down mixing department which includes cleaning pipes, mixers, machinery, hoppers, fans, etc. Cleaning conveyor area which includes cleaning rollers, belts, band cleaners, machinery, etc. Cleaning packaging department which includes blowing out and washing peters machines, belts, conveyors, and other related machinery Cleaning bathrooms, break rooms, racks, outside grounds, silos, tanks, offices, lift trucks, forklifts, garage doors, windows, etc. Cleaning outside grounds, shoveling snow and salting. Ability to drive and operate a floor scrubber. Certified to operate hand trucks and forklifts, scissor lifts (if necessary) Any reasonable request from your supervisor and/or lead. Practicing safety procedures related to the position. Comply with SOP’s Standards Conforming to all HACCP rules associated with the position.
