Warehouse Coordinator

As the Warehouse Coordinator in our animal feed manufacturing plant, you will have a variety of functions in your day as you support the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. You will also be a backup for Plant Administrative Coordinator.

  • Manage administrative functions for warehouse operations, including but not limited to: preparing and printing load schedules and pick slips, processing orders, print and prepare shipping paperwork,
  • Coordinate with customer service regarding order changes and customer accommodations.
  • Answer phones and serve as point of contact with internal and external partners for shipping and receiving operations and inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the management staff.
  • Serve as site EEO Coordinator and manage administrative functions related to hiring.
  • Manage payroll and timesheet/attendance tracking.
  • Inventory management and cycle count control.
  • Manage janitorial service and employee uniforms
  • Data entry, filing, record retention, expense reporting.
  • Special projects.
  • Requisitioning and Purchase order processing.

This position is 85% office and 15% will be in the warehouse doing various activities.

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm M-F

Required Education and Experience:

High School/GED and 1+ years office experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree, Associate Degree
  • Experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
  • Forklift experience

Required Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic Knowledge of MS Office and Internet and comfortable learning and using new computer systems.
  • Proficient in spelling, grammar, and composition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data entry skills and accuracy.
  • Filing (Alphanumerical).
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customer issues via telephone, e-mail, or in person.


Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day. The noise level in the work environment can vary.

At times, you may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms. Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication with co-workers.
