DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking to add a DevOps Engineer to the team.  This role is an opportunity for a motivated problem solver to be part of our infrastructure team and work closely with our application support, global client care, and software development teams.

This person will work particularly closely with the application support team to ensure all of our applications are running optimally at all times and we are providing high quality service to our users.

What you offer:
A broad technical skillset
3-5 years of hands on L2/L3 Linux system administration experience
3+ years of experience working with global teams
Strong knowledge of any SQL RDBMS
Hands on experience using any scripting language, like Python, Golang, ruby, bourne/bash etc.
Ability to debug production logs in real time and investigate issues including performance issues
Using monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, cacti, sentry, Elasticsearch etc.

Good understanding of the RESTful API protocol, design approach, micro services formats
Experience with docker, kubernetes, or other containerization technologies
Desire to craft custom application monitoring solutions where none exist using open source code
Extremely process-oriented; comfortable with enterprise tools like JIRA, Confluence
Outstanding communication skills
