DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps engineer to join our team.

Establish Site Reliability and DevOps principles as part of our fast paced Engineering and Data Science group through automation and streamlining of best practices Design and deliver integration and delivery pipelines to Software Engineering and Data Science teams Provide teams with tools to build, deploy, and monitor container-based and serverless systems Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to design, troubleshoot, and maintain processes that help achieve team goals Create reusable, reliable, and secure infrastructure components as code using Packer, Terraform, and other tools Bake security best practices and automation in our Product Delivery Lifecycle
Demonstrated experience in design and maintenance of cloud infrastructure Knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools such as Terraform or Ansible Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Proficient with a Unix shell Eagerness to automate repeatable tasks using Python, bash or make Experience working in a highly agile environment and multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience in monitoring tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, or Prometheus Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with platforms like Travis, Jenkins, CircleCI or GoCD Open-mindedness and excitement about improving the way “it’s always been done.” Comfort in a fast-paced, start-up environment working cross-functionally with experts from other fields.
