Human Resources Coordinator


This is a Contract position in Buffalo, NY posted June 29, 2020.

Aerotek is looking for an experienced and detailed oriented HR Generalist for a direct hire opportunity with one of our great clients! We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in employee investigations and corrective action plans.


  • Records employee information such as personal data, new hire information, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, termination data, and other pertinent HRIS system information.
  • Maintains HR information in both manual and electronic formats (resumes, forms, etc.).
  • Serves as backup to conducts New Hire Orientations (as needed).
  • Manages temporary employee log, sets up temp interviews and maintains relationship and temp replacements through designated Temporary Agencies.
  • May write, type, or enter information into computer to prepare correspondence, statements, or other documents.
  • Serves as backup to the Buffalo Receptionist Group (as needed).
  • Sorts and files records.
  • Addresses correspondence and distributes as necessary.
  • Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail (as needed)
  • Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
  • Maintains monthly ordering and reconciliation of bus passes.
  • Assists employees with inquiries or directs them to appropriate person, provides information to authorized persons.
  • Acts as point person for HR window, signing in appropriate visitors/candidates, managing employment application distribution.
  • Provides Company information to employees through memoranda, bulletin boards, letters, e-mail, and other means.
  • Coordinates or assists in coordinating various employee programs and contest activities.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all Human Resources transactions that occur.
  • Manages benefit administration (form processing, billing reconciliation and system entry)
  • Creates employee benefits packets, employee offer packets.
  • Serve as a back-up between management and employees by handling questions, and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Assists in creation of disciplinary documents.
  • Assist personnel-related investigations as required.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
