The brand new, state-of-the-art Wynn hospital is opening this year, and MVHS is seeking Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team!
Registered Nurse – Med/Surg, Full Time Nights – 12-Hour Shifts
UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for full-time new hires, based on experience*
We need more nurses like you! MVHS is looking to add more nurses on our Medsurg units that have strong passion about caring for patients who are recovering from surgery, and a variety of internal medicine/telemetry patients. Together, we are better.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions
- Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms
- Administer patients’ medicines and treatments
- Set up plans for patients’ care or contribute information to existing plans
- Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
- Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Pay: $32.50 – $47.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Night Shift, Weekend/Holiday Rotation

Education/Experience Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited associate degree. 1 year of RN experience is required. New Grads may be considered for select units.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree. Telemetry experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification
