Registered Nurse – Cardiac ICU *PREMIUM PAY & SIGN ON BONUS*

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’re the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. Rochester General Hospital is opening a new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, which will focus on caring for the advanced heart failure population. This new Cardiac Unit will act as a sister unit to the current Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, and Nurses will likely be cross trained to work in both areas.

STATUS: Full Time


SCHEDULE: Days/Evening/Nights, every other weekend/holiday

**RNs working in this role will be eligible for premium pay and Sign On Bonuses**


  • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ years of RN experience preferred.


  • Patient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performing various treatment procedures; providing physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members


EDUCATION AS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS RN – Registered Nurse – New York State Education Department (NYSED); BLS – Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (AHA) Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
