– MEP Position Location: Houston, TX Position Type: Direct Hire Position Salary: $85,000
– $95,000 (Depending on Experience) Bonus Responsibilities: To serve as a member of the electrical design team and to assist the team in production of high-quality contract documents for the firm’s clients, ensuring that the process fulfills the vision and mission Design and development process of electrical components for client projects as assigned Perform engineering calculations and apply engineering principles to assist in the successful design, creation and delivery of all electrical AutoCAD and Revit drawings for each client project Review specifications, shop drawings, addendums, and other construction documents as assigned for electrical-related items Conduct field work and complete field reports on electrical-related items to verify design as assigned Participate in client meetings as necessary and/or as assigned by supervisor Participate in career development training as assigned by supervisor or Human Resources Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination; Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) 2 years’ experience in a MEP consulting environment; preferably designing MEP systems for schools Experience in the design of power distribution, power and lighting, data networks, telephone and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial buildings Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of building codes Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines Ability to work well on a team and exceptional written/verbal skills Benefits: Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) 401K Matching PTO Bonuses About Advantage Resourcing Advantage Resourcing is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
