Job SummaryWe are looking for an Anaplan Solutions Architect for a remote position on behalf of our global client using digital innovation and operations to solve problems utilizing data and analytics. You’ll work with clients to improve their strategies, processes and operational alignment with a focus on technology-enabled business transformation. Projects range from short, multi-week assessments to phased multi-month design and implementations and everything in-between. The variety of projects provides the Solution Architect with a dynamic and highly challenging opportunity to grow and learn.The Solution Architect is a key member of the implementation team within the rapidly growing Anaplan practice. A leader with deep system implementation experience, you will be the main point of contact between the client and the consulting team. The Solution Architect is involved in driving requirements gathering sessions, developing a solid design and working with their teammates to execute a smooth implementation.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead solution design by translating business requirements, existing solutions, and spreadsheets into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional modelsServe as the liaison between clients’ strategic business leaders and the technical team by clearly communicating business functional issuesModify existing models as a part of a connected solution, optimization, or to add a new functionalityServe as the architectural SME and advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the platform and supporting technologiesParticipate in data integration and migration by defining data streams needed to flow into the platform and ensure requirements are provided to integration teamProduce technical architectures, develop system requirements, identify resources, and estimate timelines for project completionOwn the solution design documentation with support from Solution ConsultantsValidate configuration and lead UAT testing, own playback demos to clients, and lead deploymentConduct business processes and requirements analysisDevelop client-ready deliverables and templates and support the development of best practice standards and related to requirement specification, process analysis, system-based and manual controls, functional design, and test plansSupport new product development through testing, contributing to documentation and training materialsAssist in the scoping of prospective engagements, developing proposals, planning, logistics, and the execution of project management processesEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant technical degree; or equivalent work experienceFive to eight years of experience developing, supporting or implementing application software in the supply chain spaceTwo or more years of experience implementing and architecting Anaplan is preferred but not requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel modeling skillsDemonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology—requirements gathering, design, build, test and deploy (Agile methodology preferred)Strong understanding of data integration and experience integrating to ERP systems such as SAP and OracleExperience in systems integration and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS and SSRS strongly preferredFunctional knowledge of supply chain a plusPassion for business analytics, modeling, and planningExceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute in a team environmentAn ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focusStrong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
