Our ideal candidate will be responsible for independently planning and carrying out the assigned tasks to meet the objectives of the Interior Design Department.

This includes overseeing and assisting with major project activations, moves, space planning, budgeting, preparing packages for furniture, finishes and equipment purchases, management of delivery and installationResponsibilitiesCreates and executes appropriate design services for varied spaces such as: offices, conference rooms, patient care exam rooms, patient treatment rooms, waiting rooms, entry lobbies, break rooms, caf, break rooms, support rooms including Housekeeping Aid Closets, storage and stock rooms throughout all the major construction projectsPrepares detailed AutoCad designs, plans, sketches, perspectives, color schemes and any visual aids for proposed design presentationsPerforms technical, administrative or professional work involving managing, administering, operating or supporting services and programs related to the operation and safety of Federal facilitiesEngages in activities related to the management and/or administration of facilitiesDesigns building interior design environments to promote employee productivity, health and welfare, and/or health and welfare of the publicAnalyzes architectural drawings and developing AutoCad Furniture, Fixture & Equipment (FF&E) plan layers, which have provided for systems and components of building codes, major equipment, materials, placeholder furnishings and traffic patternsInterprets and reviews provided architectural plans for concurrence standards and specifications of current construction and procurement package developmentMaintains the Interior Design Resource Library that includes drawings, plans, specification procurement documents, project correspondence, and project binders relating to various design and construction projectsAssists in the management of all orders for activation, including furnishings, accessories, art, signage, equipment, office supplies environmental management suppliesPerforms other administrative duties as assigned such as administering day-in the-life scenarios, move plans, creating schedules and attending project meetingsReviews wayfinding signage plans, furniture and artwork installation plans and directing installation crews in their work without being supervisedIdentifies and creates a punch list for installed items and working with furniture dealers, installers and other involved parties to coordinate completion of punch list items QualificationsMinimum of Four (4) years of experience as an interior designer in the healthcare fieldBachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureExperience using Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to review and interpret blueprints and specificationsSkilled in free form drawing and drawing to scale when on a job site measuring for a projectSkilled in free form drawing and drawing to scale when on a job site measuring for a projectCertified as National Council for Interior Design Qualification or Project Management Certification PREFERREDSJS Executives, LLC is EOE, AA, M/F/Vet/Disability compliant.
