IT Support Engineer

ActionIQ is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our lean IT Team.

This role is based in our New York City HQ and will support local employees and our coast-to-coast remote employees.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be critical to the success of our employees.

You’ll support the organization by quickly resolving computers issues, deploying software, and teaching our employees how to effectively use our SaaS platforms.The TeamEmployee experience is top of mind for IT at ActionIQ.

We help improve our employee’s productivity and reduce friction by leveraging best in class technology.

We collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to help seamlessly onboard and integrate applications.

We work closely with ActionIQ’s Security team, finding ways to improve security and experience at the same time.

No day is the same and that is exciting!

On any given day you can find yourself working on anything from fixing an account issue, writing a new IT policy, or integrating an application with Okta.

IT is a partner to People Ops and Office Ops teams to make ActionIQ a great place to work!Responsibilities+ Provide IT support to our employees through various channels; Slack, Jira, Zoom, and when we’re back in a physical office, face-to-face.+ Onboard new employees and teach best practices on how to effectively use our Saas platforms.+ Write documentation and content for our Self
– Service IT Knowledge Center, and internal IT and Security documentation.+ Manage inventory for our fleet of Macintosh computers, and SaaS subscriptions.+ Contribute to IT projects, helping wherever you can.

This includes anything from new deployments to working with Security to complete audits.+ Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot AV systems for company meetings, and conference rooms.+ Build relationships with vendors and ensure that ActionIQ is leveraging new features available in our SaaS platforms to maximize our ROI.Requirements+ A1 customer service; you go above and beyond to help your coworkers.+ Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms like G Suite, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and BetterCloud.+ A deep understanding of macOS and Apple hardware
– we’re a 100% Mac shop.+ A strong dislike for repetitive tasks; you find ways to automate them away.+ Creating new processes and working with stakeholders across the organization is fun for you!+ Growth mindset; you enjoy being a mentor and teaching others.

You are curious and an avid learner.+ Security minded; you are both cautious and a bit of a skeptic.

You can identify phishing attempts and will escalate to our Security team if something is just not right.+ “Good enough” is just not good enough.

You don’t believe that we should continue to do things a certain way just because that is the way “we’ve always done it”.

You’re always looking for ways to improve how we work.+ Bonus Points; you’ve implemented a MDM, and/or have managed an office network, firewalls, and VPN.Our work is broad and complex in nature
