Citi: Icg Risk And Control – Icg Governance And Escalation Control Support Vp


This is a Full-time position in Niagara Falls, NY posted January 8, 2021.

Overview: This new role is part of ICG Risk and Control team working with ICG Business partners and second line functions to enhance and support the ICG Governance framework.

The role, will be expected to execute and support a range of activities to ensure that the various ICG Governance Committees and Escalation processes are effective, robust and meet the requirements set out in relevant Citi and ICG level Policies, Standards and Procedures and Committee Charters.

Responsibilities include: Ensure the ICG Governance Committees meet the requirements of the relevant Citi and ICG level Policies, Standards and procedures and Committee Charters Assist with the organization and administration of the ICG level Governance Committees and other forums where relevant, which would include: Agenda setting, including establishing and running the agenda setting meetings Drafting and collation of presentation materials Minute taking Performing an annual review of the Committee as required by the Committee Charter Evolve and maintain the ICG Governance SharePoint site Establish and maintain the ICG SharePoint site for ICG escalations Review and approve any new Governance Committee to ensure it meets the governance criteria and escalation paths are clear Liaise with the ICRM Governance team on escalations up to legal entity and group Governance Committees Assist with the training on Governance and Escalation across the ICG Maintain the ICG Governance and Escalation Standards and perform annual review Review Escalations submitted by each of the businesses to assess for thematic issues Perform Quality Assurance that escalations are dealt with robustly and appropriately through sample checking Qualifications & skills: Strong governance, control and process expertise and knowledge.

Ability to analyse a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive.

Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively.
