Principal Technical Program Manager, Corp Apps (Oracle Financials Lead)

The Principal Technical Program Manager, Corp Apps, is an expert in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud and works with finance business and technology stakeholders, including controllers, FP&A, other finance leaders including order to cash, and procure to pay, to capture requirements and work with the development team to get them implemented.

This director level position expects the individual to be hands on in configuration of key financial areas to enable financial processes for new entities and address changes to existing.

Some of the areas that the individual has depth of knowledge and experience in are
– payables, assets, receivables, journals, accounting periods, cash management, revenue management, expense management, subscription management, joint venture management, collections, reporting and analytics.

The individual should be fluent in interpreting financial statements and have strong knowledge of US and international accounting requirements.

Interact with business users to gather requirements.

Conduct preliminary research (stakeholder interviews, user interviews) and collate findings
Configure financial objects, workflows, accounting rules, and reports
Review periodic updates to the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and clearly identify needed features and impacts to business
Pull data extracts for analysis, run reports to provide answers, help business users come up to speed with features and functionality
Prepare functional specifications and documentation for development team to implement customizations
Participate in daily Scrum and PI planning, and provide status updates
Perform end to end data validation of any changes to the system
Work with business to conduct UAT and get required approvals
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5+ years of overall Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, 10+ years’ experience overall
Certified in Oracle Fusion ERP Financials
Strong knowledge of overall business processes, with in-depth knowledge of Financials / Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including payables, assets, receivables, collections, cash management, revenue management, expense management, subscription management, journals and ledgers, accounting periods, joint venture management, intercompany accounting, reporting and analytics
Awareness of recent and upcoming updates to the product
Hands-on experience implementing Oracle applications
Deep knowledge of financial accounting and US and International GAAP
Understand Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities and limitations; clearly articulate those to stakeholders
Customer-oriented leader to assist in building and providing the capability to deliver business performance through secure, streamlined, and innovative technologies, platforms, and processes.
Proficient in working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment requiring strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Well organized, results-driven, and eager to handle difficult problems
Ability to facilitate communication between business partners and technical delivery teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present analytics findings various business teams

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or other related fields or equivalent work experience 
Experience with system integrations and understand how to troubleshoot data discrepancies
Experience with data migration and financial conversion from M&A perspective
Experience in sizeable multinational and cross-cultural corporations preferred
Ability to manage multiple regional projects effectively 
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
